      Dear Parish Family Members:
Then the angel spoke, addressing the women:
      Do not be frightened.
I know you are looking for Jesus the crucified,
      but he is not here.
He has been raised, exactly as he promised.
      Matthew 28: 5 - 6
Easter, when we celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, is the most important Feast Day of the Church! “Death has no more power over him” (Roman 6: 9) and it has no more power over us! Alleluia!!
The Penitential Season of Lent, which we began on Ash Wednesday, leads us to the fullness of Easter joy. Let us put aside our sinful ways and embrace the new life that Jesus offers us by celebrating the Sacrament of Reconciliation at our Parish Penance Service on Tuesday evening, April 8th at 7:30.
Holy Week, and most especially the Triduum - Holy Thursday, Good Friday and the Easter Vigil (Holy Saturday) provides us with many deeply moving liturgical and spiritual services.
Begin Holy Week with Palm Sunday and the solemn blessing and procession of Palms. That evening at 7:30, the members of our Youth Group will present The Living Stations of the Cross.
Celebrate the Last Supper of the Lord (Holy Thursday, April 17th   at 7:30 p.m.). Come to all or some of The Seven Last Words when seven members of our Parish Family will offer their reflections on the words that Jesus spoke from the Cross (Good Friday, April 18th at 12:00 Noon). Participate in the Solemn Celebration of the Lord’s Passion (Good Friday, April 18th at 3:00 p.m.) and witness Christ’s Resurrection on Easter Sunday (the Vigil at 7:30 on Saturday, April 19th and/or Easter Sunday, April 20th, at 8 and 10 a.m. and 12:00 Noon).
May the Glory of the Risen Lord shine in your hearts and be reflected in your lives this Easter Season and throughout the year.
In the Spirit of the Risen Lord,
               Rev. Thomas Paul Lipnicki
               Rev. Jerome Bracken, CP
Mrs. Colleen Jagde, Parish Catechetical Leader
Mrs. Jerilyn Keenan, Director, Early Childhood
Mrs. Kathy Pignatelli, Director, Women's Spirituality
